Ancestral houses are homes owned and preserved by the same family for several generations as part of the Filipino family culture.These ancestral houses provide the current generation a look back of the country's colonial past through these old houses.

Emilio Aguinaldo Shrine_The house was first built in 1845 from wood and thatch materials. It was reconstructed in 1849, and then again in the early 1920s.This is the house where Aguinaldo was born.On June 12, 1898, General Emilio Aguinaldo proclaimed Philippine independence from the window of this house.
