Mt. Pulag , an adventure above the clouds.
( Another achievement at 50 ++ )
Mount Pulag is Luzon’s highest mountain at a peak of 2,922 meters above sea level (9587 feet) and the third highest in the Philippines next to Mt. Apo of Mindanao (2954 meters) and Mount Dulang-dulang of Bukidnon (2941 meters) . It is also one of the most beautiful mountains in the Philippines and native tribes say that Mt. Pulag is the “playground of the gods”. It is famous for it's majestic sea of clouds and the view of the Milky Way Galaxy at dawn and is also a home of the nation’s rare and endangered species of flora (like the dwarf bamboo) and fauna (e.g., the cloud rat, kock’s pita, serpent eagle, Philippine deer, Philippine pig, etc. In Luzon, the borders between the provinces of Benguet, Ifugao, and Nueva Vizcaya meet at the mountain's peak. Climbing Mt. Pulag is an adventure above the clouds and a must do list for climbers,hikers,trekkers and newbie mountaineers.
